The Facts:

Gary Ablett polled 30 votes almost polling more votes than the whole of the Melbourne Team.

Last Year every time Dane Swan had more than 28 touches he polled at least one vote, obviously not doing that this year as he had more than 28 touches 17 times and only polled 12 votes.

Matthew Richardson played just 6 games this year and managed 6 votes. Amazingly winning the most votes for a Richmond player.

Chris Judd has polled 15 votes or more for 6 years in a row.

Scott Pendlebury was great odds to win the Pies most vote getter polling 13 votes and beating Dane Swan, Alan Didak and Leon Davis.

Champion Data tipped Brisbane’s top 3 vote getter’s to be: 1st Drummond 2nd Mitch Clark 3rd Luke Power. Amazingly Simon Black and Jonathan Brown were not in the Top 3. They finished equal 4th with 19 votes.

Amazingly Champion Data got Kade Simpson to be Carlton’s top vote getter and he finished 5th behind Judd, Murphy, Gibbs and Fevola.

In Round 6 when Hawthorn played Carlton, Brendan Fevola scored 8 goals and still couldn’t manage a vote.

FORM GUIDE (past five matches):
WWWLL (Collingwood); LWWWW (Adelaide Crows)

MATCH ODDS:
Collingwood $2.25, Adelaide $1.65 (TAB Sportsbet)

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

Dane SWAN

Swan has had a fantastic year and is one of the favourites for the 2009 Brownlow Medal. Swan has dropped of his best in the past few weeks but has still been up with the best players on the ground. Swan statistics this year show he has been working hard for the ball. Swan has averaged 31.8 disposals a game in 09′, 7.8 marks, 3.0 tackles and 5.4 inside 50’s. He was ranked 1 in the competition for disposals in 2009.

Bernie VINCE

Vince has been in outstanding form in Adelaide’s ;ast few weeks when they have demolished Carlton and Essendon. Vince has been in career best form and is expected to perform to high levels in this game and in finals to come. Vince who is still 23 has already established himself as one of Adelaide’s best players. Vince was taken 32 in the 2005 draft and has improved ever since. Vince has averaged: 27.2 disposals, 6.0 marks, 2.8 tackles and 97.8 SuperCoach points. He had 34 disposals and 3 goals against Carlton in Round 22.

Previous Games

Round 1, 2009
Adelaide – 13.12 (90)
Collingwood – 13.8 (86)

Round 19, 2009
Adelaide – 9.14 (68)
Collingwood – 13.11 (89)

WHO WILL WIN:

Collingwood have the psychological advantage being at home but Adelaide are in red hot form kicking more than 25 goals in both of the past few weeks. I think Adelaide will be to good for the Pies but I will give both teams a great chance to win the game. If Collingwood were to win: Swan, Davis, Didak and Jack Anthony would all have to fire and if Adelaide were to win: Vince, Tippett, Knights and Goodwin would all have to bring there best games down to Melbourne. Prestigiacomo will be the most likely person to play on Tippett and Swan would probably play on Vince. You would think Rutten would play on Anthony and Shirley will probably get Alan Didak. This Game should be decided by less than 20 points and I would think both teams will form a zone to stop the other team with ther deadly attacks. Expect a low scoring game with heaps of excitement.

THE WINNER:

Adelaide by 10 points.
